Using historical auction data and other FCC datasets, industry trends, and public records, Spectrum Financial Consulting has provided clients with valuations for their radio licenses for use in negotiations and regulatory filings.

We also provide assessments of technology investments in the energy, wireless, satellite, and unmanned aeronautical systems domains.

The founders of Spectrum Financial Consulting had first founded an investment partnership for acquiring and monetizing radio spectrum licenses, particularly in the lower bands. Experience and resulting business relationships have to lead to many other projects involving consulting and bidding in many more recent auctions. We have automated the bidding and optimization via solving the Knapsack problem using Integer Programming capabilities of Mathematica™.

We bring great experience in standards bodies such as CPRI, ETSI, IEEE, TIA and organizations such as the WiFi Forum to support all aspects of our client’s technical needs, including advocacy in these standards fora.

We have been invited panelists of FCC workshops, the IWPC and 4GAmericas (now 5GAmericas, Mexico’s CoFeTel. We have submitted more than 10 filings to FCC deliberations including a declaration in support of a client interested in the T-Mobile/Sprint merger. This helped the client to gain a role as a 4th nationwide mobile 5G wireless service provider.
